Starbahis registration and account verification: identity and address documents

Opening a Starbahis account takes a few minutes. The part that takes time is account verification, which has to be finished before your first withdrawal. The operator’s own agreement is plain about it: winnings can only be withdrawn once identity verification is complete. This guide covers what to check before you sign up, which documents are accepted and which are refused, and the technical conditions your files have to meet — using only the operator’s published rules.

Before you register: make sure you are on the genuine site

The Starbahis address is numbered and changes; when one number is blocked, the operator moves to the next. So before you type in personal details or upload an identity document, the first check is not the address bar but the bottom of the page. The genuine site’s footer names Vanta Technology LTD as the operator and ALSI-202509020-FI1 as the licence number. The number in the address changes; the company name and licence number do not. If those two details are missing, the page is a copy — do not fill in a form or send documents there.

  • Does the footer show Vanta Technology LTD and ALSI-202509020-FI1?
  • Is the verification seal in the footer clickable, and does it lead to the regulator’s site? A seal that is only a picture is a copy-site marker.
  • Did you reach the address from a known source rather than a search advert?

How to find the current address is covered in our Starbahis login address guide, and the licence record in detail on our licensing page. The register entry gave the licence’s expiry date as 15 September 2026. That date has now passed, so before registering we recommend searching the licence number in the Anjouan Gaming Authority register again to see whether it has been renewed. A reminder for players in Türkiye: offshore-licensed betting and casino sites are not legal there, and a valid licence does not change that.

The sign-up form: what we know and what we don’t

We have not verified the registration form field by field, so we will not give you a “type this here” walkthrough. What the operator’s rules do say — and what actually matters while you fill the form in — is this: your name, date of birth, account currency and country setting cannot be changed after registration. A correction is only possible by sending a supporting document and having the operator accept it.

In practice: enter your name exactly as it appears on your identity document, double-check your date of birth and choose the currency deliberately. Balances and promotion amounts on this platform are in Turkish lira. A small spelling difference on the form can mean your account details and your document do not match at verification time.

Account verification: accepted proof of identity

According to the operator’s text, only these four documents count as proof of identity:

  • A valid passport — the full double page
  • A valid ID card — both sides
  • A valid driving licence — both sides
  • A valid official residence document

Proof of address: the 3-month rule

Accepted proof of address: a bank statement; a landline, gas, water or electricity bill; a residence certificate; a driving licence showing an address; or official government correspondence. The common condition is that the document was issued within the last 3 months. Rental agreements and handwritten contracts are explicitly refused.

File requirements: documents must be in colour; uploaded as JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, DOC, DOCX or PDF; at least 320 dpi; and no larger than 8 MB. All four corners of the document must be visible.

Payment method verification: card, e-wallet, bank transfer, Paysafecard

The operator does not publish a separate list of accepted payment methods, but its verification page gives separate document examples for credit and debit cards, bank transfer, digital wallets such as Skrill and Neteller, and Paysafecard. For the non-card methods, the exact content those examples ask you to show is not in the sources we have verified, so we do not describe it here. If you receive such a request, follow the matching example on the operator’s verification page.

For cards the rule is clear: cover every digit except the first six and the last four, and the CVV/CVC on the back. The rule works in your favour — nobody needs your full card number and security code.

Practical checklist

The table below is built only from the published conditions. The “common mistake” column describes a submission that fails one of them.

Document What it must show Common mistake
Passport The full double page of a valid passport Sending only the photo half or a cropped image
ID card / driving licence Both sides of a valid document Sending one side only
Official residence document A valid document Uploading an expired one
Proof of address Bank statement, utility bill, residence certificate, driving licence with address or official correspondence, issued within 3 months A rental agreement, a handwritten document or a bill older than 3 months
Debit / credit card First six and last four digits visible; the rest and the CVV/CVC covered Leaving the full number visible or not covering the CVV
E-wallet, bank transfer, Paysafecard The matching example on the operator’s verification page Sending a random screenshot without checking the example
All files Colour, at least 320 dpi, max 8 MB, an accepted format, all four corners visible Black-and-white scans, cut-off corners, files over 8 MB

Timing: when to send your documents

Verification has to be complete before any withdrawal. For requests involving verification documents, the operator says it will reply within one month — an upper limit, not a guaranteed processing time. That is why sending documents after your first deposit takes less time than requesting your first withdrawal and then waiting. The full withdrawal process is covered in our Starbahis withdrawal guide.

If you plan to take a bonus, note that the welcome bonus is not credited automatically: you apply through the “Bonus Request” page after depositing, and wagering requirements and winnings caps directly affect how much you can withdraw. Details are on our bonuses page and in our no-wagering bonus article. If something goes wrong with a document upload, our live support guide explains which contact channels actually exist.

Advice for protecting your documents

The points below are not operator rules — they are our general advice for protecting your personal data:

  • Upload documents only from inside your account, on a site whose footer you have checked.
  • Do not send identity photos to accounts that call themselves “support” and ask for documents over a messaging app.
  • Do not send documents nobody asked for, and apply the card masking rule to the digits it names.
  • Note which document you sent and when; it makes the one-month reply window easier to track.
  • Never share your password or any verification codes you may receive.
