No deposit, no wagering: what is on the list and what is not

“No wagering” is a slightly different story. The loss bonus is explicitly listed as wager-free. Read the rule in full, though: once the bonus is credited you must stake an amount equal to the bonus, and only then can you withdraw the winnings. In practice that means playing the bonus through once. Next to 30x or 15x that is very light — but it is not zero.

Which offer comes closest to “low wagering”?

How to work out what a bonus is really worth

There is a rough but useful formula: expected value ≈ bonus − (total stakes required × house edge). The house edge is 100% minus the game’s RTP. Below we use the same assumption as on our bonuses page — an average RTP of 96%, so a 4% house edge. That is an assumption, not the published RTP of the listed games.

• Welcome bonus: deposit 1,000 TL, bonus 1,000 TL. Wagering is 30 × 1,000 = 30,000 TL. Expected loss 30,000 × 4% = 1,200 TL. Result: 1,000 − 1,200 = roughly −200 TL. And those 30,000 TL have to be staked within 3 days — about 10,000 TL a day.
• Legendary Sunday: deposit 1,000 TL, bonus 500 TL. Wagering is 1,000 TL of deposit + 15 × 500 = 7,500 TL, 8,500 TL in total. Expected loss 340 TL. Result: 500 − 340 = roughly +160 TL.
• Loss bonus: a 1,000 TL loss at 10% gives a 100 TL bonus. You stake the bonus amount, 100 TL. Expected loss 4 TL. Result: roughly +96 TL — but only after losing 1,000 TL.
• The Fourth Deposit Is On Us: in the operator’s own example, deposits of 5,000, 6,000 and 4,000 TL, all lost, produce a 3,000 TL bonus. Wagering 5 × 3,000 = 15,000 TL, expected loss 600 TL, result roughly +2,400 TL. Before that, 15,000 TL has already been lost.

These are averages; a single session can land far away from them in either direction. Two more things narrow the sum: the win cap (anything above it is removed) and the deadline (unfinished wagering is voided automatically). When you read a bonus, check first what the multiple applies to, then the cap, then the window.

Why “free bonus” pages on random sites are not the operator’s offer

Search for a Starbahis no-deposit bonus and you may land on pages promising codes, free balance or “free spins without a deposit”.
