The Starbahis licence: what the register actually says

A casino claiming to hold a licence and a licence appearing in a public register are two different things. The record below was first read straight from the Anjouan Gaming Authority’s public register by searching for the domain — not copied from a review site. On 27 September 2026 we re-checked it through the Vantegris License Index, a CC BY 4.0 mirror of the official Anjouan register; the status and dates below are what it showed that day.

When we checked in August 2026, the platform’s own footer stated the same thing word for word: operated by Vanta Technology LTD, licensed and regulated by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, under licence ALSI-202509020-FI1. Register and footer agreeing is the simplest verification there is. On 2 October 2026 we could not read the footer of the current address (the page loads as a JavaScript app), so we do not claim to have seen the licence there.

How to verify the licence yourself

You do not have to take this page on trust; the check takes two minutes. Open the Anjouan Gaming Authority website, go to the Public Register and then to “Verify a Licence”. The search box accepts a licence number, a company name or a domain — all three work. The result shows the company, the status, the licence number and type, the issue and expiry dates, and every domain the licence covers.

One thing matters while you are there: the record’s status must read Valid and the expiry date must still be in the future. Suspended and expired licences stay visible in the register too — “there is a record” is not the same as “the licence is in force”. If the status still says Valid but the expiry date has already passed — exactly the case with this licence at the end of September 2026 — either the record has not been updated yet or the licence was not renewed, and the register does not tell you which. Search again on the official page, anjouangaming.com — Verify a Licence, and if no new expiry date appears, treat it as a warning sign rather than a formality.

Why the address keeps changing, and how to spot a fake

This brand is searched for together with the word “login” because its address does not stay put. On 20 August 2026 the chain ran from a promotional page on starbahis.com through a redirect domain to a numbered address — that day it was starbahis101.com. By 2 October 2026 the picture had changed: starbahis101.com no longer answered, nor did 102, 103 or 104, while starbahis105.com answered and served the StarBahis platform. starbahis.com is now a WordPress promo page linking to starbahislink.net, which redirected to www.starbahis100.com/tr/ — and that address did not answer. starbahis111.com to starbahis140.com are parking pages that redirect to “/lander”, not the platform. When a number is blocked the operator moves to another; the company and the licence behind it stay the same.

That is the useful part. The number in the address changes; the licence number and the company name do not. Whatever address you land on, scroll to the bottom of the page and look for Vanta Technology LTD and ALSI-202509020-FI1. If they are not there, the page is not this platform, however familiar it looks.

The site also carries a regulator’s verification seal in the footer. A genuine seal is clickable and sends the current domain to the regulator’s verification address as a parameter. A seal that is only a picture and cannot be clicked is a copy-site marker.

• Are the company name and licence number in the footer? If not, close the page.
• Is the verification seal clickable and does it lead to the regulator?
• Did you reach the address from a known source rather than a search advert?
• Is the page asking for a deposit somewhere you cannot verify the licence?

The same licence covers 40 domains

The register entry is not about a single site: licence ALSI-202509020-FI1 now lists 40 domains (38 in August 2026), and starbahis.com is still one of them. When we read the list in August, others on it included bahisbom.com, altinslots.com, casibar.com, finalbahis.com, betjuve.com, k9win.com, fifabahis.com.

That has two practical consequences. First, the legal entity behind these brands is the same one: in a dispute your counterparty is Vanta Technology LTD regardless of which address you signed up through. Second, when you meet an unfamiliar name you can search the register and see whether it sits under the same roof.

The licence expiry date has passed — what that means now

This licence was granted for a single year: 16 September 2025 to 15 September 2026, and that date is now behind us. On 27 September 2026, twelve days later, the register record (read via the Vantegris mirror) still showed status Valid with the old 15 September expiry: no renewal had been entered, but the licence had not been marked expired either. That is not rare in this register — 336 of the 1,526 licences in the same dataset show a Valid status with an expiry date already in the past — so the most likely explanation is register lag. It does not prove a renewal.

We cannot confirm a renewal, and this page cannot settle it for you. The practical advice: search the licence number yourself on the official page, anjouangaming.com/public-register/verify-a-licence. A new expiry date in the future means the licence was renewed. If it still shows 15 September 2026, or the status has changed, treat that as a warning sign and keep it in mind before any deposit.

What an Anjouan licence gives you, and what it does not

An Anjouan licence shows that the operator was authorised by a regulator and is subject to its rules. It means a registered company, a registered address and a body you can escalate to. Against a site with no licence at all, that is a concrete difference.

It should not be oversold. Do not expect the mandatory segregation of player funds, independent dispute adjudication and advertising scrutiny that come with Malta or UK regulation. In a dispute you deal first with the operator’s support team and then with the regulator, and the process may not move as quickly or as transparently as under a European licence.
