Responsible Gambling: Limits, Warning Signs and Help
This page is for adults aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, you should not gamble, and the information on this site is not meant for you. Below you will find general advice for adults who choose to play, the warning signs worth watching for and free sources of help.
Gambling is paid entertainment, not income
Casino games and betting are built so that, over time, they work against the player: the house has a structural edge in every game. Winning a single session is possible, but treating gambling as a regular income or as a way out of debt is the most common reason losses grow.
A healthier way to see it: the money you deposit is the price of the entertainment, like a concert ticket. If you win, that is a pleasant surprise, not a plan. Never play with money set aside for rent, bills or debt repayments.
The legal position for players in Turkey
This site is published first of all in Turkish, so this point matters to many readers. In Turkey, betting and casino sites licensed abroad are not legal, and that is where the access blocks come from. The operator holding an Anjouan licence does not make the site legal in Turkey; it only shows that the operator is authorised in its own jurisdiction. An Anjouan licence also does not offer mechanisms such as the independent dispute adjudication found under European regulation. More on the licence itself is on the Licensing page.
Practical rules for staying in control
The points below are general advice and are not specific to any platform:
- Set a budget in advance. Before you start, decide how much you can afford to lose and limit your deposits to that amount. When it is gone, the session is over.
- Set a time limit. Choose an end time before you begin and set an alarm on your phone. Time disappears quickly while playing.
- Never chase losses. Raising your stakes or playing “one more round” to win back a loss usually makes the loss bigger.
- Do not play with borrowed money. No loans, no credit card debt, no money borrowed from other people.
- Do not play when emotional. Decisions made while angry, upset, tired or after drinking tend to be expensive.
- Take regular breaks. Do not let gambling become your only leisure activity.
The operator’s tools: what we know and what we do not
The operator’s responsible gaming text defines self-exclusion: access to the account is closed for the chosen period, the account cannot be reopened before that period ends, and the same person is blocked from opening a new account in the meantime.
We have not confirmed in the sources we checked whether the platform offers other tools such as deposit limits, loss limits or session reminders, so we do not document them. Check your account settings or ask the operator’s support team. If you cannot find such a tool, apply the rules above yourself and consider the blocking tools listed below.
